The response I've received from putting this show out there in the form of a fundraising campaign has been wonderful. I'm always so touched whenever anyone actually donates, and often sobered by the reasons they have for wanting a project like this to come to light.
An interesting story from the week: Someone I know from church called a mutual friend who has more intimate knowledge of the show. He asked her, "Is Ben's show anti-gay in any way?"
She said, "No, absolutely not at all."
And he said, "Great, then we'd like to contribute." And asked how to send a sizable donation.
It should probably also be noted that if he'd asked if it was anti-Mormon the answer would have been the same.
